WRISTBANDS
Afro Plus Fest has upgraded to RFID wristbands for 2026 to improve entry speed, security, and the overall guest experience throughout the festival weekend.
Your RFID wristband is your official entry credential for Afro Plus Fest and is designed to be worn for the entire festival weekend.
DO NOT put on or tighten your wristband until festival day. Once tightened, the wristband cannot be loosened.
We're no longer mailing RFID wristbands. All wristbands must now be picked up in person at the official Afro Plus Fest Box Office during festival weekend. Please select your preferred pickup day at checkout.
Once your wristband is on, it must stay on for the entire festival weekend and cannot be removed or tampered with. A $40 replacement fee applies to any wristband that is lost, stolen, damaged, or removed.
Putting On Your Wristband
Ready for Afro Plus Fest? Follow these steps carefully:
-
Handle your wristband carefully to avoid tightening it before putting it on
-
Place the wristband on your RIGHT wrist
-
Slowly tighten the wristband until comfortably secure
-
You should be able to fit ONE finger between the wristband and your wrist

Do NOT over-tighten the band
-
Do NOT cut the loose end — tuck it into the band
Festival staff may check your wristband fit before entry.
DO NOT:
-
Cut the wristband
-
Stretch or modify the wristband
-
Tighten it before festival day
-
Transfer it to another person

Tampered, altered, removed, or shared wristbands will be voided and confiscated.
