SECURITY & ENTRY

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to submit to a full security screening before entering the festival grounds. This may include:

• TSA-style bag inspection

• Pat-down search

• Emptying of pockets and bags

• Inspection of personal belongings

• Metal detection and/or shoe removal if necessary

Afro Plus Fest reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone at its discretion.

Ages & ID

This event is All Ages.

​

You must be 21+ with valid ID to purchase or consume alcohol.

​

Valid government-issued photo ID is required for:

​

• Alcohol wristbands

• VIP credential verification

• Artist/Staff accreditation

• Any age-restricted areas

ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF ID

• US government-issued driver’s license or ID card with photo and date of birth

• US or foreign passport with photo and date of birth

• Foreign government-issued ID with accompanying passport copy

• Temporary DMV renewal documents ONLY when accompanied by expired ID or passport

• School IDs

• Birth certificates

• Consular IDs

• Expired IDs

• Photocopies of IDs (unless otherwise stated)

• Temporary DMV documents without supporting ID

Festival Policies

• NO Moshing, crowd surfing, or stage diving

• NO Unauthorized vendors or solicitations

• NO Unauthorized giveaways, flyering, or sampling

• NO Sitting in designated crowd/dancefloor areas

Lawn Chairs
Lawn chair policies and permitted seating areas will be announced closer to the festival based on final site capacity, crowd flow, and safety planning.

NO Professional camera/video equipment with detachable lenses

NO Chairs or blankets outside permitted areas
NO Unauthorized vending or promotional materials

Totem Guidelines

​

Totems are permitted but must follow all festival guidelines:

• Maximum height: 10 feet

• Must be made from lightweight materials only

• No solid metal poles

• PVC/light aluminum poles must be under 1 inch diameter

• Inflatables must be deflated during entry

• Totems promoting hate speech or illegal activity will not be permitted
